Chicha is Peru’s spin on Cumbia! Peruvian artists blended Cumbia rhythms w/ huayno melodies and psychedelic guitars to create a sound celebrated from the Peruvian beaches to the mountains.
The genre was popularized by pioneers like Los Mirlos and Destellos then brought to the hearts of Peru by artists like Chacalon y La Nueva Crema. Chicha became a voice for the people and RiTZ is here to celebrate and share this beautiful genre
with us.
